This is a fantastic show, with real immersion in the character of Thomas and the dramatic intrigue; we are constantly surprised, and the mentalism is of the highest quality. I was selected for two routines, and have no idea how he did it. I also saw Taha's Effect Papillon, equally brilliant.
I've seen a lot a mentalists and magicians over the years, and love the mystery of this art. Taha Mansour's show is perhaps the one that has left me the most intrigued, even disconcerted, by its pure brilliance and for me unexplainable mystery. Just one example: during one act, he managed to get the two audience members on stage to think of the same object, and draw it, although one was blind-folded. It turned out that this was exactly the same object that I had had in mind... before they started drawing. The person sitting next to me also had a strong image in his mind which, when turned upside down, resembled the exact same object. In another situation, I have been fortunate enough to be sitting next to Taha and to be vaguely aware of the mind games he was playing with me, but incapable of doing the opposite to what he wanted. This show, and others that Taha does, is quite brilliant, and he has already reached such a level of professionalism at a young age, that one can only wonder what another 10 years of maturity will add. Yesterday, we were all gobsmacked; virtually the whole audience waited 20 minutes at the stage door to show their appreciation once again. While waiting, our discussions left us none the wiser, and some of Taha's discoveries were more than uncanny - some seemed unexplainable, even impossible. A show to enjoy and enjoy again. Rock on, Taha Mansour! # écrit le 31/03/19 , a vu cet évènement avec BilletReduc.com
That's show has evolved over the last 5 years, and there's something new each time I see it. You come out having learnt much about mentalism on the way, and yet with so many questions. Powerful theatre. # écrit le 24/03/24
