My partner (French, notably not Parisian) and I (American) went to Paul's show due to his hysterical youtube videos that we started watching a year ago. So clearly we were going to see his show. The performance is in Frenglish, so I would suggest audience members to be a little familiar with both languages (~A2/B1 plus level). We had a great time; there was a lot of loud laughter throughout the night (impressive). Paul jokes about a range of topics that are highly relatable and he has great comedic timing. "Jean-Pierre" and I both had such a laugh and were impressed he was just as hilarious as he is in his videos; we now have incorporated a great line from one of his stories (without giving it away, don't worry): "Je ne suis pas inquiet, mais je ne suis pas à l'aise" into our daily conversations. I absolutely recommend the show. We are really happy we went, it was a great evening. Even the next morning we were retelling some of the jokes we found particularly funny. Logistics: I would suggest arriving at the venue at the "French-version-of-early." We arrived at 7:50 for a Friday show and the place was packed! For not-anally-retentive-"omg-he-said-the-f-bomb" parents, I would say you can also bring your teenagers. If you prefer an earlier evening, the Sunday show starts at 7pm. There are bunch of pop up restaurants right outside so no worries about grabbing something to eat before or after. Venue security did not allow me to bring my reusable water bottle and when I came out, it was gone. Nothing to do with Paul, just FYI leave it at home. Go and have a great night on the Seine. # écrit le 26/10/19 , a vu cet évènement avec BilletReduc.com
